Scrimp

We just got back from a long weekend in San Diego.  This trip definitely reinforced the fact that I do in fact hate snow and that my mood is directly related to the weather outside.  Take me back to California!  We had a great time hanging with my brother and his fiance, Laura.  First stop was the San Diego Zoo.  I knew California was expensive, but $40 to see the animals is a little much.  Especially when we come from St. Louis, the land of the free museums.  Alas, we forked over the dough and had a great time seeing all the San Diego Zoo had to offer.  We also cruised around La Jolla and Coronado while we were there.  Both are really cute areas with adorable stores and restaurants.  We enjoyed good food and great company the entire weekend.  We'll be back again soon!
